Is there a Macbook Pro for students?
I'm still studying and haven't got a lot of money, but I feel I really need a Macbook Pro! Is there a student discount anywhere?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

This all depends on your budget and what applications you are running. If you are doing simple word processing, email and Excel I would recommend the smaller 13" model, which starts around $1,100.00. If you are running larger applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver or doing video editing I recommend a the 15" or 17" with larger processors, more video ram and extended hard drive space, prices start at $1,500.00 up to $3,000.00. Please note that all mac computers do have the ability to be somewhat customized, this means you can add a larger hard drive to the 13" model for an added fee. From my experience Macs are an investment and are work horses that do not have a lot of down time, I have always have found them a good reliable computers.
