Is there a free official website where I can view past court records for the state of Texas?

I am trying to find soon info on a lawsuit that went to jury back in 2005. So far I have not been successful in locating any official database.
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It depends on which court that case was filed in. The Supreme Court of Texas keeps a searchable archive online. You can access it from the link #1 I've added below. Link #2 is the search page for the archive. I haven't found archives for Appellate courts. Will post in comments to my response if I find anything on lower courts.

Hope this helped :)
--Update 1: Here's the info on Local courts. http://www.courts.state.tx.us/searchable.asp

If you scroll down on that page, there are links Appellete courts' and other counties' case searches (provided by iDocket at http://idocket.com/homepage2.htm)
