Is there a cheaper way to get around in the UK than the rail pass?
I'll be going to the UK this July till mid-August. The cities I'll visit are Edinburgh, London, Liverpool and Glasgow (not in that order). I'll be in 2-3 days in each city and 8 in London (which is the final stop). Is there a cheaper way to get from town A to town B than the 8-day rail pass?

Outside of hitchhiking, Highly doubtful. Train travel its the best way across Europe.
