Is there a better podcatcher than Juice?

I love Juice, but there hasn't been an update for a long time, it isn't even properly supported in Vista. Every now and then it randomly downloads older shows. Also it causes a large CPU spike when checking/downloading.
I have both audio and video shows, but have no need for a built in browser/store crap. I use WMP for sync which works great.
I've tried iTunes, miro, Zune, Podnova, Songbird and so many others I can't remember, but none quite cut it.
I'm on Vista and 7
Thanks

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I think you should retry iTunes. It has one-click subscription to podcasts, automatic downloads, and a great load of other features, and it is updated from time to time. Just give it a try and you will see. Juice has absolutely no advantages to iTunes.

Not necessarily the best but nearly every podcast has a one click iTunes button which make me sad that I own a Zune although I got a FM tuner and the social.

Limewire is something you should defiantly check out. Its a great way to get music and other stuff.

I'm not sure about the Windows platforms but a lot of mac desktop clients like NetNewsWire have podcatchers built right in, you might want to look at those as alternatives to Juice/iTunes.

I co-created iPodderX the first podcast client on the Mac
