Is Theraflu the best thing to take when you're sick?

I don’t know if Theraflu is the best thing to take when you have the flu but I certainly would recommend it. Why, because there is something about drinking something hot that is therapeutic to a sore throat. This is why we will drink hot tea, hot lemonade and hot soup when we’re sick. Theraflu goes along the same lines.
But is Theraflu for everyone, well that will depend first on your age, the dosage of drug may be too much for a child. Also if you have a health condition such as High Blood Pressure, you should consult your physician before taking a product such as Theraflu, due to drug interaction that can occur. Remember even if its over the counter, Theraflu is still a dug, and should be handled as one. So what are the active ingredients in Theraflu, first of all most brands of this product contain the painkiller Acetaminophen. Other active ingredients could include Dextromethorphan ,Chlorpheniramine, Pheniramine, Guaifenesin, Phenylephrine the amount of each drug will depend on the type of Theraflu bought. Usually the daytime version will have fewer milligrams then the night version. Theraflu may not be a cure for the cold or the Flu but it can help relieve some of the symptoms associated with these illnesses.
