Is the WhiteHouse afraid to confront Glenn Beck?

If his facts are wrong why don't they call him on the direct phone line he set up to the Whitehouse and refute him with their facts?
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I don't believe the White House is 'afraid' of Glenn Beck but I have no doubt behind closed doors he is concidered a major thorn in their side.
I don't personally agree with alot of Glenn Becks methods, however I do believe he has brought a number of important issues to the surface.
Corruption within Acorn, the questionable backgrounds of such people as Van Jones and others with close ties to the Obama admin.
Like him or not Glenn Beck is a major media personality and has a very large following with both his cable program as well as his radio program.
Then there is his books which 5 have been and are best sellers.
I don't believe the White House should respond directly to his requests for answers nor do I believe Glenn Beck expects them to.

If they stop and answer one direct question, there will be millions to follow. Glen Beck is a citizen like everyone else. Just because he is in the media doesn't mean they have to stop and answer him. While I don't really care for Beck I don't think FOX as a whole is doing any worse with this administration as other networks did with the previous one.

No the White House is responsibly ignoring the rantings Glenn Beck.
The White House will not negotiate with terrorists for the same reasons they will not acknowledge Glenn Beck and his tired rantings. I am sure thousands of lunatics send letters and other communications to the White House every day. The White House has no need or desire to lend any credibility to Mr. Beck or these other lunatics by even acknowledging his or their accusations or torments. He is a pest and a thorn in the side of all that is decent in media. He is irresponsible and inflammatory. He should be charged criminally for treason.. that should be the next communication he gets from any government official... an on air arrest

Thats a whole lot of accusation without a thimble of proof that would indicate that any of it is truth.
Typical liberal jargon, attack the messenger when no evidence is available to refute the message.
We have completely opposite concepts of who is defending the Constitution of the United States.
You are right in your statement that the path to correction should be obtained via the vote, (providing the voters have access to pertinent information.)
Glenn Beck is one of those voices that, thanks to News Corp, is providing information that otherwise would be swept under the rug.

Treason?
What has Glenn Beck done that would justify charging him with treason?

His rantings are inciting those who would seek to destroy by any means necessary the United States as we know it currently. ( http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html#A3Sec3 )

He is providing aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States by his use of his media platform to legitimatize the rantings of one who would start a revolution.. within the country itself. .. Fox News should be charged as a conspirator as well. The charge of treason will most likely not stick but charging him will set precedent for future lunatic revolutionaries hiding under the guise of free speech with the plantings of revolutionary seeds. Elect different leaders if you want a different country do not stir anger and hatred by lying admitting to not checking fact and pontificating untruth and deceptive commentary to further the advancement of revolution.
