M$It's just that being a Mormon herself, obviously she'll put in the values she believes into the story. In the book, we'll see the following values being prioritized by the Mormons such as marriage, family and about premarital sex as well. I think most writer will do that since they're the one in control of things and they have ideas on their mind on how to make the story be best depending on their preference.

M$"Well, where did you come from? Evolution? Creation? Couldn’t we have evolved in the same way as other species, predator and prey? Or, if you don’t believe all this world could have just happened on its own, which is hard for me to accept myself, is it so hard to believe that the same force that created the delicate angelfish with the shark, the baby seal and the killer whale, could create both our kinds together?"
This is a common argument from creationists (the argument from personal incredulity) which suggest that Stephanie Meyer certainly holds very traditional religious views.
But again, I don't think there is enough of this type of stuff in the books (haven't read the later ones), to indicate this is Mormon propaganda.
