Is the new Macbook Pro family really all that faster?
What processors are used in the new Macbooks and are they really so fast? Are there any benchmark tests available online or a comparison sheet?

The new line of the Macbook Pro family now houses the i5 and i7 processors. These aren't exactly Alienware technology but the up side is that these chips also have integrated graphics processors that improve the energy efficiency of the machine. This means the laptop is expected to run for much longer that it's previous versions. This is the same technology they are promoting for the new Macbook Air. Basically the brand aims to have the longest battery life in the business.
You could go check out news sites like BBC Click for comparisons. A lot have been made but there have yet to be any with emphasis on the new Macbook Pro family.
