Is the need for maintaining optimum efficiency in organizations through quality assurance creating a new demand for QA professionals?

No, not a new demand, but an ever continuing one.
As far as I can see, organisations have for a prolonged period had a need for quality assurance in their company. The reasons are diverse, and fluctuate. it can be because of public demand, a legal need, for cost efficiency, or for many other reasons.
I don't see this providing a NEW demand for QA pros, the demand has been there for years, and will not diminish over time
