Yes, C++ and C# are based off C.. but all languages are not based off English! They're more based off a language like Latin! In this case, English would be the C# of C.
I'm not sure I even agree that Java is the English of Programming. One one side, it's everywhere - but java is easy to learn, and English isn't. Maybe something like VB is more the english of Programming!
