Influenza type B is one of three strains of virus immunities selected by the CDC this year for your Flu Shot. The other two being two strains of Influenza type A.
H1N1 is another virus and vaccination altogether, and no amount of flu shot will immunize you for H1N1, nor will H1N1 immunity affect your chances of getting the flu.
