Is the homoerotic Toasty Torpedo commercial an amazingly excellent ad or a total mistake by Quiznos?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$If I ever order one of these I think I better ask them to hold the sauce.

M$However, I think it's a great ad. It's hilarious and it's going to stay in people's minds no matter how the public feels about it. That is the biggest problem with Quizno's, I believe. Everyone knows about 5 Dollar Footlongs, and they are part of common pop culture, so they stay in people's minds. There's been nothing to really make people think of Quizno's, though. I think it's a brilliant ad.

M$Definately a whole lot racier than the recent Carl's Jr's ad.
If you want homoerotic, you go for a Sonic advertisement.

M$So it's most likely a mistake.

M$I'm sorry, the day we need to censor the words "put it in me" is the day we might as well just give up all of our freedoms. If it had been a female voice on the toaster oven, would that make it okay?
I think it is funny as hell... the commercial itself will not get me to eat at Quiznos though... that guy telling me to boycott will.
I will definitely go to Quiznos tomorrow, order a toasty torpedo, and tell anyone who will listen that the commercial cracked me up - if they have a comment card I will fill one out.
I say boycott the commercial and let your local Quiznos know how twisted it is.

M$I agree with you that it's definitely not a family commercial. However, there have been many commercials with more blatant sexual themes during widely-watched events like the Superbowl, which is known for its commercials. I think the idea of boycotting it is a little strong.
The commercial now has a censored version that airs before a specific time. Why be a fan of the same boring, mindless crap that most companies put out, sometimes it is fun to see a company think outside the box (no pun intended).
How exactly does one boycott a commercial?
Nothing new either (see below)
