Is Symantec the same thing as Norton AntiVirus?
What is Symantec? I was looking through my recycle bin and saw a file called Symantec. When I searched, I found a lot of other Symantec files. Is Symantec part of Norton or is it maybe a virus? Is it safe to delete Symantec files?

Norton is a product of Symantec Corporation. “What is Symantec” is a vast definition. Symantec provides products and services to help individuals and enterprises assure the security, availability, and integrity of their information.
