absolutely not. there are some claims that he is a purple belt, but those claims have not been verified. he is absolutely, unequivocally, not a black belt in brazilian jiu jitsu. if he claims he is a black belt under kevin casey, then this is also false, as kevin casey (who legitimately received his BROWN belt under Rickson Gracie) is not a black belt either and has no authority to promote black belts (or any other belts) and as such, has been kicked out of the Rickson Gracie Academy / Association.
