Is Rupert Murdoch an evil person for wanting to charge people for online content, and not allow search engines to index content?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

No, Rupert Murdoch is not an evil person for attempting to charge people for online content. It is the duty of the CEO of a publicly traded company to create value for the companies shareholders. Mr. Murdoch is just attempting to do this through charging for access to News Corp. online content and blocking search engines from indexing that content.
