I do not think rock n roll is a dead genre, nor do I think it will ever be. There are a couple main categories for music. One is rock n roll, one is country and then dance music. These three seem to be most popular genres and the rock n roll crowd seem to be die hards and rarely switch to the other side.
Rock n roll bands seem to be alive and still attracting thousands for sell out concerts. It amazes me that some rockers from when I was growing up are still around and filling arenas such as Bon Jovi and Bret Michaels.
I do not think there is a thing to worry about, rock n roll music is here to stay.
