Is Quinceanera supposed to be capitalized? For now I will have it capitalize because it is a type of party.

Yes, I believe it can be capitalized. Quinceanera is a celebration of significance, and when used to denote the celebration rather than the girl it should be capitalised because you are using the term as a proper noun. We capitalize Conformation celebrations and Bat Mitzvahs when used in that regard, so I think its appropriate.
It does depend on how you are using the word but as a proper noun it should be capitalized
