Is Prolog making a comeback as Semantic Web's PROTUNE? Prolog IS the perfect language for modeling and processing relationships and rules!

Tip for best answer: M$0.50
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Actually, I believe that Protune(PROvisional TrUst Negotiation) will play a role in the security framework that will be necessary to negotiate access to shared data. I believe Prolog by itself will play a role in the semantic web, as will other AI languages. The following article gives one example of how Prolog can work with XML and RDF.
