Is photography one of the hobbies that would work well for a person with developmental disabilities?
Where can I find information for teaching photography with disabled kids or adults? How can I explain how to compose a photo to an adult with developmental disability?

Photography is a complex hobby. It is an art, a science and a craft. To be a photographer you need to be able to understand complex relationships. For example, the overall exposure is comprised of the amount of light that hits the sensor. The aperture, shutter speed and the sensitivity of the film or camera sensor control the amount of light. Understanding the interrelationships between these three elements is critical have success and fun as a photographer.
It could be an excellent hobby for someone who is disabled but still has the ability to uncertain and control these relationships and therefore how to control light. That said it might be too complex a hobby for someone with developmental disabilities. I believe that would depend however on the specific person and therefore be a case-by-case basis.
