I believe that our world is becoming, and will become increasingly more multi-polarized in this century. For about two decades after the breakup of the Soviet Union the USA has been the sole superpower in the world, but this may already be a waning phenomenon, you are seeing nations like China, India, and EU(EU will become a single nation some time this century) on the rise. I believe that by the middle of this century(at the latest), there will be a few other nations that will compete with the US for global hegemony, and in that case, the world will become more multipolarized, which is trend for the New World Order of this century. In some aspects this will be a good thing, in some aspects this may not be such a good thing, but we will see.
