You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$Are you a database guru? If the cert doesn't teach you anything new its usually not worth it.(some exceptions might be if you are compensating for something) Are you paying for this yourself?(If not then who cares take the cert!) If so there might be better certification options for you depending on what your career goals are: Webmaster, DBA, etc.
My answer is really geared towards the question "Is X certification worth it" and the answer to that is it depends on the cost: time, money. And the cert's relevance.
