It is true that even though Michael Jackson already passed away, his carrier single called This is it is nominated for this year’s Grammy Awards.

The song ‘This is it’ was written by Michael Jackson himself and Canadian singer Paul Anka. This song was released on October 2009 and unfortunately is the only airplay single from his album (with the same name) due to his sudden demise on June 25, 2009.
The song was nominated for the Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. Other nominees include ‘Half of my Heart’ by John Mayer, ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’ by Michael Bublé, ‘Just the Way You Are’ by Bruno Mars and ‘Whataya Want From Me’ by former American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert.
‘This is it’ didn’t manage to win the award though. ‘Best Male Pop Vocal Performance’ award was won by newcomer Bruno Mars for his hit ‘Just the Way You Are’.
