Blender, a music and entertainment magazine, whose ad pages fell 31 percent in 2008, to 522 pages, according to the Publishers Information Bureau. Blender will cease publication with its April issue, but will continue to publish on its Web site, blender.com, its owner, the Alpha Media Group, announced on Thursday.
Alpha also is combining its magazine Maxim with Maxim.com, which means a few staff changes and, potentially, more layoffs. Joe Levy, the editor in chief of Blender, will become editor in chief of the combined Maxim and Maxim.com; Jay Woodruff, formerly editor in chief of Maxim Digital, will become chief content officer of the operation.
But other country version such as India are making progress, which include e-zine covermount CD too.

Maxim Magazine is a publication of Dennis Publishing, according to a press release from Dennis Publishing date Feb. 2, 2009:
"Maxim has seen a 5.5% increase in UK sales successfully reflecting recent marketing investment and fresh editorial invigoration under Ben Raworth, Editorial Director, as the magazine continues to evolve upmarket and away from the more traditional lads-mags audience."
this increase in a foreign market makes it more likely that it will be kept, and as the ad revenue from American business might be low the increase from countries such as the UK might lead to a continuation of printing. also the magazine has also seen an increase in their subscription numbers according to the same press release, for the Jul-Dec 2008 time, which is also more likely to add to its continuation.

While it's not going out of print any time soon, there is a huge crisis in the magazine industry. Publications are losing so much advertising revenue. I was so surprised when I saw Vogue the other day and it's so thin!
