The 49-year-old, whose father was The Mamas & The Papas star John Phillips, will appear on the show as a sober coach. Less than a year ago she was arrested for cocaine possession and forced to start her 10th stint in rehab.
According to TMZ.com, Phillips has turned her life around and all remaining drugs charges against her will be dropped once she completes a 180-day drug diversion program.
She will replace Gary Busey, who was addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky's last sober coach."
