Back in "the day," when people wrote with quills and fountain pens, printing would create blotches of ink and make a mess of the paper, whereas writing in cursive was smoother so it was neater and more efficient. Not so these days will ballpoint pens and the extent to which we do our writing with computer keyboards.

M$Let's say a lot of things are on computer! I wouldn't say everything! (But nearly that way) I still have to hand fill out paper work for my job, and sure there are still jobs around that people still use handwriting, but I suppose these are all of the older generation, so guess the school age kids now, will all be using computers, but still think it would be a shame for handwriting to disappear!
