Born in San Francisco in 1957 Kevin Pollack became a stand-up comedy performer at age 10. When he was 20 he decided that is what he wanted to do and he became a professional comedian. After a decade on the road he decided to turn to acting. Since then he has done both but until recently more acting than comedy. He won an award for his role in “The Usual Suspects” from National Board of Review. He worked with Chazz Palmerteri , Stephen Baldwin, Kevin Spacey Gabriel Berne and Bernicio del Toro on that film which gave Kevin Spacey his first Oscar.
He never took acting classes or studied acting in college. He has 89 acting credits including reoccurring roles on television. In his first major film role, “Willow “ he worked with Val Kilmer. He had a great performance in Barry Levinson’s “Avalon” with Aiden Quinn and Elijah Wood. He also worked in LA Story” with Steve Martin and Jessica Sarah Parker.
He was in “Another You” with Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder and had a great role in
“A Few Good Men” with Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson, Kevin bacon and Demi Moore, which is like a quartet of star talent. In his current comedy routine he pokes fun at Alan Arkin and they worked together on “Indian Summer”. Check out the IMDB link below to find out more.
