Is Kevin Garnett suspended for Game 2 of the playoffs against the Miami Heat? (VIDEO of fight)

Kevin Garnett threw a nasty elbow to Quentin Richardson of the Miami Heat at the end of game Game 1 in the first round of the 2010 NBA playoffs. He started a a big fight.

He received 2 technical fouls and was ejected with 40 seconds left. Will Kevin Garnett be suspended for Game 2 of the series? I think there is no doubt he deserves it. How many games should he be suspended for?

According to Tom Ziller of nba.fanhouse.com, it was posted that "the referee crew -- Dick Bavetta, Ed Malloy and Joe DeRosa -- reviewed video of the fracas for several minutes once things calmed down, and Garnett was ejected for the final 40 seconds....the league might decide the Game 1 ejection, all 40 seconds of it, is punishment enough. We should find out soon enough."

Considering there was only 40 seconds left and it did not effect the outcome of the game, do you think it could be punishment enough? He started a fight and threw a nasty elbow!

I think it is punishment enough but it remains to be seen if the NBA commissioner will impose a fine or one game suspension.

BREAKING NEWS: "Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics has been suspended without pay for one game for striking the Miami Heat's Quentin Richardson in the head with an elbow. Garnett will serve his suspension Tuesday when the Celtics face the Heat in Game 2 at TD Garden."

This is great news, he got what he deserved!
