Traveling with your pets not always easy or convenient, but with a little careful planning can be worth the effort. Many hotels require additional fees for overnight stays and in many pets are excluded entirely. If you can make an alternative arrangement to commercial airline travel for your pets, do so as it can be very stressful to the animal. There is a new airline called Pet Airways or PAWS that transports animals in the main cabin instead of the cargo hold. When traveling by car or mobile home, stick to the main interstate routes and utilize the safety rest stops as most will have leashed pet areas. Keeping your pet with you when you travel can make you feel more at home, and can be a better option than a kennel.
