No, more likely than not. Mickey Carroll's official Web site does not say anything about this relationship one way or another, but the Show Biz Biography page indicates that Carroll performed at Chez Paree Club, which Capone owned.
The Riverfront Times reports that Carroll CLAIMED Al Capone as his godfather, but does not say that this is a fact, or offer any evidence one way or the other. InsideSTL.com gives the claim similar treatment.
It's difficult to prove or disprove a claim that a certain person is your godfather, because that's not exactly a legal relationship - not at all like claiming someone as your grandfather, after all. However, I think that there would be some sort of confirmation, at least among the credible sources, if Al Capone had really been Mickey Carroll's godfather. Rather, I think that they had a business relationship, and could possibly have been acquaintances or even friends, but I highly doubt that Al Capone was his godfather.
