Is it safe to leave LED Christmas lights on 24/7?

Tip for best answer: M$0.35
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Last Christmas I wired an Angel tree topper with a small set of battery powered white LED lights. It ran 24/7 for almost 2 months without a problem. I checked them periodically and they never even felt warm. I would think that a LED set that plugged in would be the same.

well it depends on the quality of your led ,if the quality is not good, then i am afraid to say that is hard to say yes,but if the qualiy is goo enough then it may support 24/7. last time i brougt some from ledlightsworld it's still working on functionally .
