Is it possible to play FarmVille on a dial up connection?
For various reasons, I'm on a dial up connection, would this make it impractical to try and play FarmVille?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It's so annoying and I get upset. It seems that I have better luck at night, because my signal is stronger. Maybe in the future there will be some disc or download. It would limit the ways of interacting with your neighbors, which I think is the best part of playing the games. It's like spending some time with your friends, but not really.

M$Advisable? No.
The thing is that you can access Farmville using any type of Internet connection. I did it using the wireless connection from my laptop in the middle of nowhere. It took me 5 minutes to connect to Facebook and another 10 to load the application. But it can be done.
While my daily Internet connection is broadband, I don’t have any problems with Farmville, however if you use the dial up connection your application will crash often. This decreases the gameplay and can be frustrating after a while.
There are many other Facebook games that can be played using a dial up Internet connection, however you must expect wait some time before the game loads.
Besides Farmville, Frontierville is another game that requires a decent connection.
