Is it possible to LOCK your own Mahalo Answers question after it has been successfully answered?

I get people giving WRONG answers to questions that I asked more than a year ago that have ALREADY been correctly answered. Is there a way to LOCK my question after it has been successfully answered so that morons cannot keep adding stupid answers to my questions?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

We like to keep questions open so that folks can add knowledge, but I can see your frustration.

It's best to just vote a bad answer down and say why!

if it is spam just report it.

I sometimes like to answer old questions when they come to my notice. Often the asker is the one to pick a bad answer as the best, so I don't think letting the asker lock the question would be a good idea.

I almost put in a new answer to your rolling question because it seemed to me the answer was misleading even though it was what you wanted. As a bicyclist the real world factors that are dismissed out of hand are much more important to me than the basic gravity and physics stuff. In other words, rolling resistance and aerodynamics matter.

Most of the time though, answers to long past questions are just commercial spam.
