Is it possible to get the screen casing off my MacBook?
How do the casing get it back on? Where can I buy a new screen casing?

Depending on which model of the MacBook you have, it can be fairly easy to remove the front bezel of your MacBook screen. It does require some finesse and tools on your part.
To remove the front bezel of your MacBook, you will first need to remove some of the back parts of your screen. This is because the screen is often connected to the body of the MacBook in some ways and you will need to remove and loosen some of these connections in order to get to your screen. Some of the tools you will need a Philips screwdriver, a plastic card and a spudger. You will also need to ground yourself before you touch any interior of the MacBook to avoid electrocuting yourself.
To get the casing back on, you can simply follow the steps in reverse. iFixit has a great list of ways to fix different models of the MacBook and it is in a fairly easy to follow guide complete with pictures.
To purchase a new MacBook screen, you can either go to eBay or search online retailers for a replacement part. However, this is generally not recommended since MacBook screens are often costly to replace and it is often cheaper to purchase a new laptop.
