It is possible for some to be in love with more than one person, fully and completely but that is not the norm. Everyone is different. The chances of ending up with two or more other people also capable of the same thing is even smaller.
I have found more fulfillment in having chose one person to focus all my attention on and to receive it from. The distinction between "love" and "in love" was made in the question so I'm only referring to in love.
