Is it OK to submit my son's photo to a casting agent without telling my husband?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

No, that would not be OK.

First of all, it's your son's choice whether he wants to be casted or not, without being pushed by either parent. Next, he should have consent and support of both parents.

From the way you ask the question, I read that your husband is not going to agree with this. Is it really worth having an argument over? If your son really wants this himself, he might be able to convince your husband. If not, you might be able to find out why your husband doesn't like the idea of him being casted. Does he simply think it is 'stupid', or does he have more profound reasons to not agree with it?

In the end, this is something both parents should agree upon before endeavoring in an adventure like this. At least, that is how I see it.

Just my two cents...

Would your husband care?

I know that I wouldn't care if my wife submitted photos of my kids to a casting agent.

However, we've both talked about this before and said that if the opportunity came up, that we would put our kids in commercials, etc.

The bottom line to this is that if you have a feeling that you're doing something behind your husbands back or at all sneaky, then NO, it is not ok. Otherwise, yup, giver.
