Is it OK to mix regular vehicle tires with run-flat tires?
I have an 05 Mini in the need of a two replacement tires. It currently has four run-flat tires, however, I would rather save money and buy regular instead. I'm considering just replacing the two balding tires with regular tires and keeping my other two run-flats. Would this be a problem or would you suggest I replace all four with the same type of tire, even though two of my originals still have plenty of tread left?

"No problem
Just make sure the new one is the same size and tread style. try to change two at a time, either front or back so there wont be ride issues. I dont blame you for not wanting to buy those expensive tires. "

I had to choose "no best answer" for this, Wiki Answers is possibly the worst source on the internet. You have no idea who is writing these answers, every answer is anonymous and can be edited by anybody. I also should mention their answers aren't sourced.
With that said, I'm not saying your answer is wrong, I'm just saying it's not a great source.
