Is it now legal to charge extra for payment by credit card in Switzerland?

This may be a legal question, but not necessarily the one you are asking. This is most likely regulated by contract between the Vendor and Visa/MC. Most credit card companies do not allow--per agreement--for an additional charge just because the method of payment is credit card. However, it seems to be a universal practice.
