First, are you male or female, and are you gay or lesbian? This is important because trying to make love to a male walrus would be tantamount to suicide. Whether the walrus was more or less cooperative or not, you would be squashed. Suicide is not moral, at least not simply for lust. A male walrus weighs two tons and is not domesticated.
If you lust after a female walrus, that might be a little safer as they are somewhat smaller and less aggressive. Still, it would be pretty dangerous.
It would also be illegal in Canada and Russia. It might not be illegal in Greenland, which is a territory of Denmark. Breaking the law is generally considered immoral without much better reason than lust.
If you are Jewish, Christian, or Moslem it is against your religion and immoral. This might not apply to Reform Judaism or Unitarian Christians but they might consider it animal abuse.
The main argument that making love to a walrus is moral has to be that it would be entirely voluntary on the walrus's part. There is no way on earth you are going to make love to a walrus against its will.
I don't think any studies or surveys have yet been done to find out whether any walruses would like to make love to humans. Perhaps you could put in for a grant? If you try, you might cite the observations that ostriches are attracted to humans, so interspecies romance is not unheard of from the animal's point of view.
My personal recommendation would be to keep your relationship platonic. Perhaps send it a package of fish on St Valentine's Day and write sad poems about unrequited love.

If she comes to you solo, does a back bend, you can get a grip and not drown, I think you stand a shot. It it morally wrong? If she consents - really consents - then only God can pass judgment on that one. Personally, I don't think so, and I hope this all helps in your time of great need.
