Is it legal to sell suicide kits online? I heard a rumor that you can in Japan. Anyone have confirmation?

Clearly they won't "promote" suicides, but I wouldn't say the death rate exceeding birth rate means anything. The world is horribly over-populated, and I've heard that the earth can only really support around 1 billion long-term.
Sometimes I think doctor-assisted suicide is a good idea... think about it. How many people attempt to kill themselves by shooting themselves or taking pills and fail. All it ends up doing is causing pain, resources, in some cases disfigurement, not to mention the time spent in the hospital.
Maybe that sounds horrible to you but just my PoV.
Suicide kits online.... I'm not sure. I've never heard of any law against promotion of suicide or sale of suicide related article.... but maybe there is. It wouldn't surprise me. I'd search (your location) suicide laws and see what comes up.
I guess you could always try and the worst that would happen is you'd be asked to remove the content.
