Is it legal to enter a design contest for a logo if you purchased that logo at istockphoto? Because one of my clients did that & won bronze.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Presumably this depends on the detailed rules of the competition. It certainly seems unethical to do this, but if the rules of the contest don't preclude such use, and if the logo was purchased including the rights to use it in this way, it is not illegal.
