I pretty much ignored that regulation when it passed and have been playing poker with real money on two different sites ever since. I'd recommend you take a look at Full Tilt Poker or Sportsbook.com's poker room.
Full Tilt is extremely popular and 10 tournaments begin every second. There is a reason for its popularity. It's fun and you can lose money there, even in the US.
Sportsbook is more of a gambler's website. The Poker aspect is just a bonus. As an avid and degenerate gambler, this site is my favorite. I can lose money on football, hockey, baseball, and poker all at the same time.
The biggest benefit to sportbook.com is just that. The games aren't near as plentiful as at Full Tilt and sometimes you have to sit around waiting for certain tournaments to start, but the players are a different breed. They're gamblers, bred to lose money and keep on coming back. I like that about Sportbook. Full Tilt, though, has a better variety of players. Plenty of terrible players and plenty of great ones.
I've never used pokerstars and haven't used pokerroom since they shut out US players. But, I'm surprised you havent tried Full Tilt yet? If you've ever watched poker on TV, you'd see that half of the players in every single game are wearing Full Tilt hats or shirts. It's the best advertised Poker Room on the internet. Get with the times, man

Haha TV.... you get with the times man. TV is old. Also, I prefer to play poker with people instead of watch people play. I pay as little attention to advertising as possible unless its really creative or stands strong without the product. I haven't cared about poker on the internet as I thought it was illegal until now.
However, I do appreciate your answer. I will take a look at full tilt and see how the graphics are.
