Is it just me or is anyone else annoyed by questions with way too many question marks??????

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I am always annoyed when people misuse the typed word on the net by adding multiple question marks, exclamation points or just periods.

We have now created a new medium of communication through keyboards, but are losing a battle with true grammar and writing.

Grammar and the written word has slowly been neglected, ignored and is falling into decay through the abbreviations of texting too.

This is just my opinion, but if a monkey can spot bad grammar, what does that say about us?

They dont really bother me. There are more things that annoy me than that. Also, sometimes i just do it out of an "impulse" because im frustrated or annoyed. So it seems that when i get frustrated ill add a bunch of !!!!!!!!! or ?????????? and then i pass it on to others.

I am annoyed to, one question mark is fine. I am also annoyed by exclamation marks where they are not appropriate.

It used to annoy me. Not anymore. I think you will get use to the questions marks too.

But I also have to say, sometimes I just ignore questions that have too many questions marks.

Yes and since you are so annoyed with it, why did you add 6 question marks after your question? Was it to annoy everyone?

no, they don't annoy me.

but having a ton of them is a bit odd, yes

you mean like??????????????
(oops, easy to do, leave the key on repeat!)

they are funny party filler.

great trick for someone to write a school paper that needs 500 characters for a short essay

(just kidding)

My elementary school teacher said one punctuation mark per sentence. I explained I had seen otherwise in print, but she was unimpressed when it developed I had seen it in a comic strip.
