Young King Tut probably doesn't have a lot of people still about mourning his death. And so no one; including Tut, is going to worry with the testis, studies or analysis that are being done.
Considering that the testing that will be done will be done carefully and I'm certain with great respect, it's in no way disrespectful.
In fact, it's helpful as it gives us the history of Tut and in a sense all the people of that time. Their story dies with them if the facts and truths are not examined and searched for. In my mind, this offers much more disrespect to the people of this ancient civilization than any CT scan or DNA analysis that could be done on the remains of the mummy.
