Is it harder raising siblings of the same gender or different genders together?
Is it easier to raise 2 girls, 2 boys or one of each? I can see the same gender having more in common, but there may be more competition. Different genders may cause conflicts because of a lack of similar interests. Does it depend on age differences?

I think it depends on the parenting. I have two children, a boy and a girl, who are now 13 and almost 18. They are almost 5 years apart and I have no complaints.
If you are strong, stern yet loving and most of all consistent, kids will no what to expect and you have a better chance of them being good and respectful.
On the other hand, if you have two children close together in age, you may find it harder in the beginning with two little ones. I personally did not think the younger years were near as difficult as the teenage years.
