Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

WARNING: Do Not Consume Handfuls Of Saffron !

The lethal dose of saffron is 20 g. If your pregnant don't consume more than 5g, because it has been known to cause contractions and miscarriages.

The spice is completely safe otherwise and even 5gs of saffron is greatly beyond the amount you'd find in food.

During pregnancy (in India), elders advise the pregnant ladies to drink a glass of saffron milk every day to ensure a fair baby. This is a myth and there is no scientific evidence to support this belief.
