M$A mole can potentially develop into cancer. Moles should not exceed 6 mm, nor change colors. If it is not in a circular shape or similar, then it could be dangerous as well.
So basically, it can be dangerous (though it probably won't) so if you have the extra money or really care about your health, you may want to get it removed.

M$My GP told me that, when you have a mole in a place where it rubs against something all the time or gets cut from time to time, they advice to remove it as a precaution because it may be triggered to develop into cancer.
I have one on my face that I cut from time to time when shaving, that appears to be risky. Also under bra straps and the likes, it may be questionable.
