Is it bad for your credit score to change banks?

And to expand, is it bad for anything, not just your credit?

Changing banks will not affect your credit score. However, if you abruptly close your accounts, this can indirectly affect your credit. Lenders, who make the decision about granting you a loan, consider these aspects as well as your credit history. You can read more about it here:
