Is it a sin to watch porn movies? I just want your opinion, no videos/photos please...

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

If you're religious. I'm guessing you're being specific to forms of Catholicism and Christianity. Predominantly in these religions masturbating is considered a sin, but the specific viewing of porn being a sin is debatable. In short, it's not the watching that's a sin but your thoughts and actions during the viewing.

I wouldn't say that I didn't answer the question, rather my intention is to say that the topic of sin is subject of vigorous theological debate with long lines of reasoning and maybe not subject gut opinion.

The thoughts and actions may be regarded as sinful, but what about purchase and watching maybe tacit approval of the degradation and exploitation of women, which maybe the greater moral omission.

Well, I'm almost positive the topic of sin is concrete to most religious individuals. I doubt they are ever wary about weather or not to murder someone. But good job on answering the question like she was asking you directly.

If you don't think you're qualified to answer a question you probably should'nt post on it. However; that may also be a subject worthy of vigorous argumentative reasoning.

Since sin is a religious concept it is more appropriate for a theologian to answer, or at least a person versed in conversations about what is sin. While I do not have the background to define things as sinful or not, pornography is generally regarded as exploitative and degrading, neither of which is humanistic.

You didn't answer the question, you write the density of a rock, and that doesn't make you any smarter.
