Is it a good idea to have dummy answer on open questions, select NBA to recover trapped tip money for Mahaloians ?
Many tips are trapped in unanswered questions.
By having dummy answer on open questions, thus enable the asker to select NBA will have the following benefits:
1. recover trapped default tips for Mahalo, for default tipped questions.
2. recover trapped tips by asker, for tipped questions
3. recover trapped tips for Good Samaritans who have helped in tipping interesting questions, thus help in achieving min payout of $150 by end of July.
Win-win-win solutions !
Any insights ?

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I was wondering what a dummy question was!

What I mean is dummy answer.
Asker cannot choose BA or NBA if there is no answer.
For him to choose BA or NBA, he needs at least an answer.
An answer that enables him to choose NBA is dummy answer.
Oh, that was my fault. That makes a lot of sense. Thank you for clarifying it!
