However, there are also some violent acts done by Muslim name holders, like they are done by people of every religion. But, whenever a Muslim does a violence, the Media makes sure that they have linked Islam with them. But, when a non-muslim does a violence, the media never mind about their religion.

In a nutshell, the vast majority of Muslims believe, as Christians do, that we should have compassion for our fellow man. The now infamous term Jihad is an offensive attack against anyone who would unfairly threaten a Muslim. A Jihad is not intended to be a defensive attack.
So why are members of Islamic cults so violent? They have been taught to believe that Americans in particular (and the western world in general) wants to threaten them and their way of life. Their schools convince their pupils that the best way to honor Allah (Islamic term for God) is to attack the United States, the western world and its representatives.
